Welcome to the second game of Super Saturday: Raiders v Dragons.
A few changes to both sides. Firstly the Raider have named Bill Tupou on the wing, with Lee moving into the centres and Kennedy going back into the second row.
Fenson also moves to the bench with Vaughan moving to starting lock. Papalii moves to prop while Tilse in his 200th game moves to the bench.
For the Dragons Dugan returns from injury to fullback and young gun Aitken comes into the side in the centres, with both Mata’Utia and Nielsen dropping out of the side.
In the forwards Cooper goes to prop with Rose dropping completely out of the side and Marketo coming onto the bench.

Raiders kicking off and we are underway! (Pre-match)
Dragons complete and the Raiders start 25m out from their own line. Good strong start from the Dragons.
Raider complete and the Dragons start their set 10m out from the line. Bomb allowed to bounce and could have been awkward for the Dragons. (1H 0:50)
Penalty Dragons and the touch finder takes them about 40m out from the Raiders line. (1H 1:50)
Benji knocks on making a meal of a simple pass and Raiders back with the ball about 15m out from their own line. (1H 1:50)
Good set from the Raiders and they almost go in in the left hand corner. Great kick from Cornish and they went very close. (1H 2:57)
Widdop kicks it out on the full on the last and the Raiders get the ball in good field possession 40m out. Dragons have started as they left off against the Tigers last week. (1H 4:44)
Cornish forces a drop out with a clever grubber as Nabuli takes it dead. (1H 5:41)
Penalty on the last for holding down in the play the ball and Raiders tap it 5m out. (1H 6:25)
REVIEW. Hodgson looks to have scored forcing himself over from dummy half close to the line. Ref sends it upstairs as a try. (1H 7:45)
TRY Raiders. Hodgson scores his first try in the NRL close to the posts. 4-0 Raiders kick to come. (1H 8:29)
Croker makes no mistake and it is 6-0 Raiders. Dragons looking absolutely terrible early and it is no wonder coach McGregor has no hair. (1H 9:41)

Wow. Horrible play from the Dragons as they loose about 20m with some terrible passes and then spill it, turning over possession to the Raiders. (1H 10:43)

Hodgsons grubber on the last can’t get into the in goal and the Dragons survive, starting 2m out from their own line.
Dragons complete, but a poor kick chase means Raiders through Rapana will start their set in great field position on half way. (1H 13:03)
TRY Raiders. Lovely ball from Cornish to Soliola and he goes over without a hand been put on him, about 15m in from the left hand upright. 10-0 Kick to come. (1H 14:03)
Crocker slots it without any problems and it is 12-0 Raiders. (1H 14:03)
Vaughan is leading from the front with 9 hit ups in the first 15 minutes. (1H 14:43)

Nabuli knocks on 20m out from their own line and the Raider scrum feed and on the attack. Dragons have completed 3 from 7. (1H 16:31)
TRY Raiders. Austin scores a solo try next to the posts off the scrum and it is 16-0 Raiders, kick to come. (1H 18:10)
if this is the best side the Dragons can come up with I would hate to watch their reserve grade team. They are simply atrocious! (1H 18:58)

Dragons put on an exciting piece of play but Nightingale drops it with the line right open and bomb a certain try. (1H 23:54)

Raiders split them up the middle through Crocker. Raiders bomb from about 20m out but the Dragons defuse through Nabuli. (1H 25:45)
Penalty Dragons and the kick takes them over half way and on the attack. (1H 26:36)
Dragons drop it cold and Raiders start their set about 45m out from their own line. Hands like feet at the minute for the Dragons. (1H 27:27)
REVIEW. Austin is over after another solo effort but the refs send it upstairs as no try double movement. (1H 27:27)
NO TRY. Terrible decision by the video refs as it was a deadset try. Not sure who is worse out of the Dragons or the refs at this stage. (1H 28:19)
Dragons complete but nothing kick by Marshall on the last and Raiders in possession 10m out from their own line. (1H 29:12)
Penalty Raiders after a high shot on Rapana. Raiders touch finder takes them 30m out from their own line. (1H 30:01)
Nightingale strips it one on one off Crocker and he comes up with the ball 20m out from his own line. (1H 31:01)
Farrell kicks it straight to Crocker and Raiders start their set 20m out from their own line. (1H 31:46)
Cornish finds touch 20m out from the Dragons to slow it all down. He has controlled the game and been very good so far. (1H 32:35)
Dragons complete but another miserable finish and Raiders start 10m out from their own line. No pressure at all on the Raiders on the Dragons last tackle. (1H 34:55)

TRY Dragons. Merrin scores right next to the posts with some lovely footwork close to the line and it is 18-4 kick to come. (1H 36:21)
Widdop converts and it is 18-6 Raiders. Not sure why Merrin just doesn’t play 80 minutes in this team. (1H 36:55)
Penalty Dragons as Tilse gives away a stupid penalty in the ruck. (1H 37:35)

Penalty Dragons as Waqa intercepts but he is ruled to be offside and have taken off early. Half time siren goes and the Dragons go for goal. (Half Time)
Kick is successful and the Raiders go into the sheds leading 18-8. (Half Time)
Cornish and Vaughan have stood out for the Raiders while Merrin has made a massive difference to the Dragons side since coming onto the field. (Half Time)

Raiders knock down a Dragons pass and Dragons will get a scrum feed 30m out from the Raider line. (2H 45:01)
REVIEW. Nightingale has crossed in the right hand corner and the ref has sent it upstairs as a try. (2H 46:07)
TRY. Lovely work by Nightingale right in the corner and the score moves to 18-12, kick to come. (2H 47:40)
Widdop just misses and the score remains 18-12 Raiders. Dragons holding onto the ball and completing sets and are looking the better side at the minute. (2H 47:59)
Dragons complete but again a rather meek finish to their set and the Raiders start 10m out from their own line. (2H 49:46)
Penalty Raiders as the Dragons hold back a man off the ball. Right on the attack 20m out from the Dragon line but they choose to kick for goal and make it an 8 point lead. 20-12 Raiders (2H 50:49)
Raiders complete but the kick from Hodgson is just a bit too big and Dragons get a 7 tackle set and a 20m tap. (2H 52:25)

Good last tackle kick from Widdop but the Dragons are ruled to have knocked on. Replays show Raiders knocked on first. (2H 56:32)
Waqa down injured as the Raiders take it into the Dragons half. (2H 56:32)
Poor last tackle option from Raiders and Nightingale nearly races away. Dragons with the ball 20m out from their own line. Waqa goes off. (2H 57:13)
Widdop kicks dangerously again on the last but the ball doesn’t bounce for Nabuli and goes into touch. Raiders scrum 10m out from their own line. (2H 58:10)
Raiders force a line drop out through a fantastic bomb by Cornish. Nabuli takes it beautifully under all sorts of pressure. (2H 59:11)
Dragons roll the dice with a short drop out and they come up with the ball! (2H 59:11)
Dangerous bomb by Marshall defused by Rapana as he flies high above the pack. Spectacular take. (2H 61:13)

REVIEW. Dragons cross through Nabuli after a great long pass from Widdop. Ref sends it upstairs as a try. (2H 63:10)
NO TRY. Nabuli drops it over the line. Wow (2H 63:10)
Correct decision but Nabuli did so well to catch the pass and get to the line. Bad luck Dragons and they have all the momentum as Dugan returns to the field. (2H 64:08)
Dragons pack led by Merrin hitting hard in defence. (2H 64:56)
Raiders force an line drop out as Dugan is driven back into the in goal after an excellent kick from Cornish. (2H 64:56)
Cornish forces another line drop out as Dragons do everything they can to get out of the in goal. (2H 66:24)
While the first half was full of errors the second half has generally been of an excellent standard. (2H 67:10)
Hodgson pushes over again from dummy half but he is held up on the last and the Dragons get the ball 10m out from their own line. (2H 68:19)
TRY Dragons. Rein has scored after running 35m out of dummy half and just gone straight through some terrible Raiders defence. 20-16 kick to come. (2H 69:17)
Somehow Widdop misses and the score remains 20-16. Bad miss from Widdop about 10m left of the uprights. (2H 69:42)

Great set from the Dragons and Aitken nearly scores in the corner on the last. Turn over and Raiders play the ball 10m out from their own line. (2H 70:49)
Marshall intercepts a Nuuausala offload and Dragons right on the attack. (2H 72:23)
TRY Dragons. Thompson has scored about 15m in from the left hand upright. Poor defence again from the Raiders as he beat three there. 20-20 kick to come. (2H 74:09)
Widdop kicks it and it is 22-20 Dragons. Dragons hit the front for the first time with 5 minutes to go! (2H 74:09)
Dragons complete and the Raiders start their set 20m out from their own line. (2H 74:27)
Great bomb by Cornish is spilled by Nightingale but it went backwards and the Dragons have the ball 15m out from their own line. (2H 77:33)
Marshall kicks it dead in goal and the Raiders have a 7 tackle set starting from the 20m. (2H 77:33)
Cornish chips it back inside looking for Austin on tackle 4 but it is well read by Widdop and the Dragons start their set 20m out from their own line. (2H 78:25)
Merrin drops it and the Raiders have one last chance. (2H 79:25)
Tilse is tackled as the siren goes and the Dragons post an incredible victory. Dragons were horrendous in the first 25 minutes but they changed after Merrin came on the field and win 22-20. (2H 80:00)
Merrin was the Dragons best supported by Aitken, Rein and Frizell. Cornish was great for the Raiders with his best game for the season but the Raiders forwards just slowed down too much at the end. (Full Time)
